The Regulated Life Program — An Honest Review

By Christine Fabroa·June 29, 2026·4 min read

Why I built The Regulated Life

I spent nearly twenty years inside divorce, custody, and domestic violence cases as a paralegal. I sat across from people on the worst days of their lives — and then I lived through my own divorce. The Regulated Life: Foundations is the program I wish someone had handed me.

This is an honest review — from the person who built it — of what is actually inside, who it is for, and what makes it different.

What''s included

The program is built around four audio modules and one framework called The Regulation Compass. Each module pairs short, narrated lessons with a printable reflection guide so you can move at your own pace.

Module 1 — Safety

Returning your body to steadiness so you stop reacting from survival mode. You learn the 5-Minute Regulation Reset — a practice you can use anywhere.

Module 2 — Clarity

Seeing what is actually happening — not what fear or grief is telling you. We separate facts from the stories the nervous system invents under stress.

Module 3 — Connection

Finding your way back to yourself before reaching for anyone else. This module is about reconnecting with your own signal, not someone else''s.

Module 4 — Agency

Choosing from a healed place instead of a wounded one. Decision-making frameworks you can actually use during a divorce or any high-stakes life transition.

Who it''s for

  • You are in the early shock of separation and you cannot think straight.
  • You are in the middle of a long, drawn-out legal process.
  • You are on the other side and you are rebuilding from the ground up.
  • You are a man or a woman — this work is not gendered. Pain isn''t, and neither is healing.

What it''s not

It is not generic wellness content. It is not a 12-step program. It is not a substitute for therapy or legal counsel. It is a structured framework, in my voice, for returning to yourself when life has pulled you apart.

What I learned building it

Building this program forced me to put language around things I had only ever felt. The biggest realization: regulation is not the opposite of feeling — it is the capacity to feel without falling apart. That single shift changes how you move through everything that comes next.

A regulated life is not a perfect life. It is a life where you can return to safety in your body, clarity in your thinking, connection in your relationships, and agency in your decisions.

Final word

If you are reading this and you can feel the weight of what you are carrying — start with the free 7-day guide. When you are ready for the framework, The Regulated Life: Foundations is waiting.

You did not fail. You are just overwhelmed. And there is a way through.
